Trusting Innate Ways of Blooming/Awakening, Even Amidst Challenging Landscapes
The photo of the cactus was taken in the yard. One of the joys of desert rains are the vibrant, waxy petaled blooms that quickly arrive. The desert can be harsh. It also knows how to go within, be still, conserve what's precious, and how to open to new nourishment, blooming wildly, boisterously! This one is fascinating with the soft colors and flowers opening strongly through rays of thorns. These blooms form a perfect circle on the tops, looking like pink halos. All is joyous as bees plunge into the pollen, and bats visit to pollinate other cactus blooms (the size of a whole hand) at night.
